Cancer-Fighting Foods

Remember that being overweight increases the risk for multiple cancers: colon, esophagus, and kidney. Try to get at least five servings a day of cancer-fighting  nutrients, fruits and vegetables.
A daily diet of at least two-thirds plant-based foods and no more than one-third animal protein is the key to a healthy body and mind and a sure way to fight cancer.

Female Cancer Warnings One Should Never Ignore

Key Points to Remember
1. Pay attention to any physical changes in your body and ask doctor’s opinion. Be alert but not obsessed to the point of not enjoying your life. Usually it is not cancer. If it is, remember that cancer is treatable if caught early.
2. Know your family health history both  on your mother’s and  on your father’s side  and  schedule timely screening tests.
3. Know your BMI (body mass index) and strive to keep it under 25 which is at the border of overweight.

4. Exercise regularly to lower blood estrogen levels and to help cut your risk of  breast cancer.
5. Have regular screening tests: get a colonoscopy after 50; schedule regular Pap smears after 21; schedule mammograms after 40.

Foods that De-Stress and Make You Happy!

Stress is part of  life which you cannot always avoid or change. You can only work on your attitude, improve your life style and your diet. Strive to include foods rich in the vitamins and minerals presented in my video clip, relax,  laugh, and exercise more and you will soon see remarkable improvements.
It has been too long since my last post and a lot has happened in my life. I am planning to share with you some of my thoughts and experiences with natural cures via my video clips.

Hippocrates was an ancient Greek physician who was born on the island of Cos (Kos) around 460 BC. He was the first who believed that diseases had natural causes and were not caused by gods. He is considered the father of the western medicine. Like Hippocrates, I believe that the human body is equipped to heal itself and that nature is our best source for our renewal.

"Heal thyself" is my new motto. My advice to you all is-go back to nature, to your ancenstors' roots, to traditional medicine.

Traditional versus modern medicine. Read, learn, compare, and apply.
