I believe that aging is accelerated by an unhealthy lifestyle rather than by passing years. Most of the slowing down process, such as painful, deteriorating joints, failing kidneys, fatty liver, lazy gallbladder and pancreas, weaken eyes and forgetful mind, is caused by your body being choked-up with toxins. Methodical cleansing is all your body and mind
need to revitalize. Detoxing clears  the "lanes", the "corridors" if you will,  that are being used when the toxins are eliminated and removes these toxins out your body.
 
Detoxification or detox is the medicinal removal of toxic substances from a living organism, including the human body. In medicine, detoxification is accomplished by decontamination of poison ingestion and the use of antidotes and techniques such as dialysis and chelation therapy.
Toxins (damaging substances) come from particular foods when they are too high in saturated fat. Excess sugar and refined products increase your rate of toxins as well. Additionally, the world we live in suffers from overall pollution which affects us all. When these man-made toxins we inhale, absorb and consume increase faster than they are eliminated, our body begins to slow down and struggle. Luckily Mother Nature has plenty of foods rich in nutrients used during detox: fiber, vitamins, antioxidants and minerals.
